18K gold-plated brass · 925 sterling silver posts · Gold, Silver & Two-Tone · Free shipping · 30-day returns
Two hoops. One piercing. All shape.
Two thick, rounded bands curve off a single post, sitting nested against the front of your lobe like a dune worn smooth. No crystals, no chains, nothing dangling. Just the shape of the metal and the way light falls across it.
This is the earring for the day you don't want to think about what you're wearing but don't want to look like you didn't. It goes with a plain white tee, a black turtleneck, an oversized blazer, a slip dress. It goes on in five seconds and stays on until you take it off.

What it's made of
Real 18K gold plating, over brass.
The gold you see is a genuine 18-karat gold layer plated over a solid brass core, not a paint or a color coating. That's why it holds its warmth over time and why it doesn't dull under indoor light the way cheap "gold-tone" alloys do. It isn't solid 18K gold — nothing in this price range is — and we'd rather tell you that up front than let you find out.
925 sterling silver posts.
The part that actually goes through your ear is 925 sterling silver, the same grade used in fine jewelry. That's the piece sitting in your piercing all day, so it's the piece worth spending on. We list it that way rather than calling the whole earring silver, because only the post is — the body is brass.
You can wear these all day. You can wear them all week. What you can't do to them is drop them in the shower, spray perfume directly on them, or leave them in a chlorinated pool. See the care note at the bottom.
One post, two bands
From the front, they look like two independent hoops nested together — the kind of stacked look that normally takes a second piercing to pull off. They don't. Both bands come off a single sterling silver post that goes through one standard lobe piercing, the same as any everyday stud.
Slide it in, secure the back, done. Nothing to figure out, nothing to align.
Three ways to wear the same shape
Gold. Both bands in warm 18K gold plating. The classic, and the easiest to build around: cream, camel, black, denim, olive. This is the one to reach for when the rest of your jewelry is gold.

Silver. Both bands in cool silver-tone plating. Sharper, more modern, and the natural match with white, gray, and cool tones. The pick when your other jewelry runs silver.

Two-Tone. Silver band on top, 18K gold band on the bottom. This is the one to pick if the rest of your jewelry is a mix, or if you never quite settled on a "your metal." It goes with both, on the same day, from the same earring, and it reads as a deliberate design rather than a compromise.

The things worth knowing
Weight without pull.
The bands are rounded rather than solid all the way through, so they have real presence on the ear without dragging on the piercing by the end of the day. This is a pair you can put in at 8 a.m. and forget about until you take them out.
Nothing to catch on.
No stones to snag on a sweater, no chains to tangle in your hair, no wire to bend out of shape. They hug the lobe and stay there. You can lie down on them, sleep in them if you have to, put them on under a scarf, wear them under a phone against your ear.
Ships as a mirrored pair.
Left and right are already matched. Put them on and they line up.

Questions we get
Is this real gold?
The gold-colored bands are real 18K gold plating over a brass core, not paint or "gold-tone" alloy. That's a genuine gold layer, applied by electroplating, which is what keeps its color under normal wear. It isn't solid 18K gold — no earring in this price range is — but the plating is real.
Are these sterling silver?
The posts are, 925 sterling silver. The bands you see are brass with a gold or silver plating over them. We list it that way rather than calling the whole earring silver, because only the post is, and that's the part that actually goes through your ear.
Do I need two piercings for the double look?
No. One standard lobe piercing. Both bands come off the same single post — that's the whole design. You get the stacked look without the second hole.
Will they turn my ear green?
The post going through your piercing is 925 sterling silver, so nothing about the part inside your ear will react. The plated body sits against the outside of your lobe; with normal care it holds its color, and the care note below covers what shortens the life of any plated finish.
Which finish should I pick?
Match what you already wear. If your rings and watch are gold, take Gold. If they're silver, take Silver. If you wear a mix, or you've never wanted to commit to one, Two-Tone is the one — it looks deliberate in a way that plain mixed metals don't.
Can I sleep or shower in them?
Sleeping in them is fine occasionally, though not ideal. Showering, swimming, and hot tubs are what wear plating down fastest, so take them off for those. See the care note below.
Taking care of them
The gold plating is real, but it's still a plated finish, and how long it stays looking new comes down to what you put on it. Perfume, hairspray, lotion, chlorine, salt water, and sweat are what dull any plated finish over time. Let those go on first, and the earrings go on last.
Wipe them with a soft dry cloth after wearing and keep them in the pouch rather than loose in a dish where they can rub against harder pieces. No jewelry dips, no ultrasonic cleaners, no polishing compounds. If the plating ever needs a refresh, a jeweler can re-plate a brass piece for a small fee.
Try them for 30 days
Wear them to work, wear them out, wear them with everything you already own. If they aren't right, send them back within 30 days for a refund. Shipping is on us both ways.
